The Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) program is designed to provide workers, supervisors, and other workplace parties with basic understanding of hazard classes and categories, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), and labels as they relate to the following. Note: Employers MUST provide workers with additional equipment/workplace training on the workplace policies/procedures and Hazardous Products/Materials that they will be using or/& Exposed to.
