The course provided is instructed by trained experts. Upon completion participants will be able to recognize confined spaces, confined space hazards (atmospheric / physical), knowledge of legislative requirements, general procedures for confined space entry, confined space program requirements, employer / worker responsibilities, employer confined space rescue planning and lock & tagout requirements. This is an awareness course only and does not qualify workers to enter confined spaces, without site specific training for Permit Systems, Employer Policy & Procedures for “Confined Spaces” in their workplaces, and employer / site rescue plans.
Note: Employers MUST provide workers with additional equipment/workplace training on the workplace policies/procedures and on Confined Spaces at that specific workplace.
