This Workshop will provide participants with Oral, Written, and Hands on Instruction for the safe operation of Class 4 (Internal Combustion Trucks w/Cushion Tires), Class 5 (Internal Combustion Trucks w/Pneumatic Tires), Class 7 (Rough Terrain / Reach Machines) forklift Trucks and Skid Steer w/Fork Attachments. Individuals will also receive instruction on laws / responsibilities, Hazards, Capacity Charts / Load Placards, Safe Operation, Pre-operation Inspections and Hands on Inspections and Operation of Forklifts. Additionally, participants will also receive Oral, Written, and Hands on Instruction for safe procedures in installing, removing and correct storage of Lp Propane cylinders use on propane powered equipment.
Note: Employers MUST provide workers with additional equipment/workplace training on the workplace policies/procedures and on equipment that they will be using.
